The Academic Fair is an evening family event that gives students the opportunity to display their class work with pride. Students work hard in the weeks leading up to the Academic Fair to prepare special projects and displays. Typically, families are welcome to visit all of the classrooms in the school, and the Math Fair and Ice Cream Social are held in the Lower Church Hall in conjunction with the Academic Fair. During the 2020-2021 school year, this format may be altered to reflect COVID-19 protocols and mandates.
The Academic Fair supports the mission of St. Pius V School by promoting fundamental skills, critical and creative thinking, the arts, appreciation for diversity, family involvement, and a spirit of unity. The Academic Fair allows families to gather in a social setting to reveal the community that God has built at St. Pius, as well as encourage each child to take pride in doing his/her best.
