As the end of the year approaches our pre-k group has one more adventure left to take..

"THE LIFE CYCLES OF BUTTERFLIES!"

Our class gets a hands on learning approach as we are watch our very own caterpillars continue to transform from cycle to cycle. Some of our favorite projects in this unit include the symmetry of butterlies, life cycle movements on the rug and creating butterfly houses our of assorted art materials.

I wish all families a wonderful end to the school year and a relaxing summer vaction. We will miss all of our students this year and cant wait to watch them continue to grow and learn in their future years ahead.

As we prepare for the upcoming Lent season, we ask God for forgivness from our sins. As our preschoolers start to understand the season of fasting, they practice being a good Christian by sharing, being patient, waiting thier turn and thinking of others.

Happy 2018!

Our preschoolers have been fully engaged in our construction curriculum and have loved exploring many child-based projects and building with assorted manipulatives throughout our day. As we finish out the month of February, we will be talking about Catholics School Week. Our preschoolers will be taking time to discuss the word of God and reflecting on how to be the best Christians we can be!

Wishing everyone a peaceful Christmas holiday and a blessful new year! Teachers look forward to the upcoming new year and exploring new areas of learning with our preschoolers!

2 Years Experience At School
My name is Miss Goulos and this is my second year as the Pre-Kindergarten teacher at St. Pius V School. I have been teaching for over five years and absolutely love what I do. I attended Wheelock College majoring in early childhood education and performing arts. I strive to create a classroom environment where children sit in the drivers seat of their learning. I enjoy creating projects and activities that support their current academic interests while strengthening all developmental areas.
