Happy Catholic Schools Week!

Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.

Our pre-k friends are finishing up our hibernation/artic themed learning unit. Some of our favorite projects included learning how polar bears stay warm, discovering the hight of different whales, and exploring the artic habitat.

In the month of February, we will be exploring many VALENTINES DAY projects and activites, learning about the traditions of Groundhogs Day and of course making our own predictions for the superbowl!

Happy 2018!

Our preschoolers have been fully engaged in our construction curriculum and have loved exploring many child-based projects and building with assorted manipulatives throughout our day. As we finish out the month of February, we will be talking about Catholics School Week. Our preschoolers will be taking time to discuss the word of God and reflecting on how to be the best Christians we can be!

Wishing everyone a peaceful Christmas holiday and a blessful new year! Teachers look forward to the upcoming new year and exploring new areas of learning with our preschoolers!

My name is Miss Goulos and this is my second year as the Pre-Kindergarten teacher at St. Pius V School. I have been teaching for over five years and absolutely love what I do. I attended Wheelock College majoring in early childhood education and performing arts. I strive to create a classroom environment where children sit in the drivers seat of their learning. I enjoy creating projects and activities that support their current academic interests while strengthening all developmental areas.
