Spring time 2018
Here is a look at what will be happening in 6-11 during May and June.
Grade 5 math ...
'Fraction Action' in math class. We will learn about equivalent fractions, simplest form and adding and subtracting fractions. You'll be surprised at how easy it can be!
Grade 6 math ...
Geometry; we will learn mathmatical term and measurements of lines, angles, and shapes.
*After school extra help for math is offered on Weds. from 2:30 to 3:00. Students must bring a note from a parent if they are staying for extra help.
Grade 5 science ...
We continue to learn about life on our beautiful Earth, ecosystems, and the organisms that live in them.
Grade 6 science ...
Earth science continues as we learn about the ocean, move upwards into the atmosphere and learn about weather and climate, and then, even further on into outer space!

I completed my master's degree in Elementary Education at Salem State University in 1995. This is my third consecutive year in Grade 6, Room 11. I'm happy to share my love of teaching with the 5th and 6th graders at St. Pius V School.
