A Lenten Prayer
God of Love,
through this Lenten journey,
purify my desires to serve you.
Free me from any temptations to judge others,
to place myself above others.
Please let me surrender even my impatience
that with your love and your grace,
I might be less and less absorbed with myself,
and more and more full of the desire
to follow you, in laying down my life
according to your example.
Welcome to Music Class!
Our Pre-K, Kindergarten, first, and second graders will be celebrating the hundredth day of school and then quickly moving onto some St. Patrick's Day tunes. Our third, fourth, and fifth graders will be studying Motown for the next couple of weeks. Students are practicing some choreography to go along with a few of the songs. I look forward to seeing how their performances turn out!
Welcome to Math Class!
Please continue to practice your math facts at home! Practicing all of your facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division), will help you better understand the more challenging concepts we are starting soon.
I am currently in my second year of teaching at St. Pius V School. Last year, I was the math and science fourth grade teacher. I am currently teaching math to grades 2-5 and music to PK-8. I received my Undergraduate Degree from St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. Having graduated from St. John's Prep and St. Anselm College, I am thrilled to be working in a Catholic School setting.
