ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are awarded to students who reflect in their young lives qualities expected in a Saint Pius V Elementary School student.  In Scripture we read that after the Finding in the Temple Jesus returned to Nazareth with Mary and Joseph where he grew in "nature, grace and wisdom."  These qualities translate and are evident in the lives of students who actively participate in the faith life of the parish, strive daily to do their best, and respond enthusiastically to the "lived experience" St. Pius V School offers each day.  Awards are made to students nominated by the Faculty, Administration, and Pastoral Staff.

Many of these scholarships have been established by families in memory of someone they love very much who has died.  It is the family's way of honoring that memory and a way to help others always remember the good lives of men and women who have gone before and who made our world a better place.  Please click on the underlined links below to hear the story of each person for whom an endowment scholarship has been named.
