The tin whistle is a simple six-holed woodwind instrument.  It is in the same category as the recorder, American Indian flute, and other woodwind instruments.  The tin whistle is closely associated with Celtic music.  Tin whistle club meets after school once per week and is open to students in grades 2 and up.  Tin whistle students perform during the Spring concert and at various other times throughout the school year.
