Student Council

The Student Council is an active and vital part of the St. Pius V School community. The council consists of eight Elected Board of Commissioners (Commissioner General, Assistant Commissioner General, Commissioner of Athletics, Commissioner of Publicity, Commissioner of Religious Affairs, Commissioner of School Spirit, Secretary, and Treasurer) and the class presidents from each classroom in grades four through eight. Primary and final elections take place in the spring, culminating in the Student Council Inauguration in May. Class presidents are elected in the fall. Student Council meetings take place bi-weekly and are supervised by Mrs. Etzel (grade 7 teacher).

Student Council responsibilities include morning announcements and prayer, Advent and Lenten charity drives, Holy Childhood membership drive, special dress days, and school tours.
